The Hudson girls tennis team continued its successful season by winning the Northeast Ohio Conference Valley Division title Friday.
The Explorers boast a 15-1 overall record and a 5-0 mark in league dual matches.
Senior Alex Bastock, freshman Kati Mdzinarishvili and freshman Natalie Arcoria each secured a title in first, second and third singles, respectively.
Sophomore Grace Lu and sophomore Mir Lim won a title in first doubles, and junior Lizzy Adams and junior Paige Mollison finished second in second doubles.
The Kent Roosevelt girls tennis team is also on a roll this season with a 17-1 overall record and a 12-0 mark in the Portage Trail Conference. The Rough Riders won the PTC regular-season and tournament titles.
Sophomore Andrea Krebs, senior Kitty Kristinsdottir, junior Rachel Gardner are Roosevelt's players in first, second and third singles, respectively.
Senior Mallory Kennedy and senior Lauren Bush team up in first doubles and senior Mahala Spalsbury and sophomore Immy Underwood are playing partners in second doubles.
