Hudson's Ben Gedeon orally commits to Michigan

Hudson junior linebacker Ben Gedeon reportedly made a verbal commitment to Michigan on Tuesday night, according to several Internet reports including
Gedeon is 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds. He also had scholarship offers from Penn State, Tennessee, Boston College, Michigan State, Purdue, Stanford, Duke, Virginia, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Louisville and Kent State.
Gedeon was an All-Beacon Journal first-team selection this past season. He had 55 solo tackles as a junior along with 40 assists, five tackles for loss, one sack, three pass breakups and a forced fumble.
As a running back for the Explorers, he rushed for 1,220 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also had 13 receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown.
Hudson won the Northeast Ohio Conference River Division title.
