Hudson, Twinsburg & Lake runners highlight boys cross country state meet

HEBRON: There were no area team or individual champions in the boys state cross country races, but several individuals put together good races.

Hudson junior Kyle Mau placed third in the Division I race in a time of 15:21.93 and Twinsburg senior Garrett Crichlow was ninth at 15:44.18.

Boardman senior Mark Hadley won the Division I race by completing the 3.1-mile course in 15 minutes and 10.63 seconds.

Lake junior Jacob Kernell placed 14th in Division I and Tallmadge senior Patrick Ferguson was 16th.

CVCA placed two runners in the top 10 of the Division II race with junior Ryan Adams and senior Ben Bockoven crossing the finish line in seventh and eighth, respectively. Marlington junior Ty Raybuck was 10th.

The top area runner in Division III was Smithville senior Tommy Weiner, who placed 26th.
