By Michael Beaven Published: February 22, 2014

Jackson junior Landrie Grace has made a commitment to continue her academic and golf careers at High Point University in North Carolina.

“High Point is a Division I program with about 4,200 student enrollment,” Jackson coach Teal Harvey said. “They are a member of the Big South Conference and Landrie will be receiving a full-ride athletic scholarship to play golf.”

Grace is a three-time Federal League Player of the Year and three-time Stark County Player of the Year. She is also a three-time first-team All-Northeast Ohio Inland District selection and a two-time second-team All-Ohio golfer.

“As a junior, Landrie had a scoring average of 72.0 [shots] and was only 1 stroke over par for the season,” Harvey said. “She shot a career low 64, which was 8-under-par, at Scioto Reserve Country Club.”
