Knights coach hopeful despite injuries

By izzy Published: September 23, 2009

Nordonia is 1-3 and coach Al Huge would like to quit seeing so many players coming off the field this year with injuries.

"Our quarterback Zach Lewis was carried off field on a stretcher, but he is OK. Our lineman, Aaron Highberger, tried to play on one leg and our running back John Spooney had a bad ankle and hardly played," says Huge after a 26-14 loss to North Royalton.

Huge says Friday's game with Valley Forge at Boliantz Stadium is winnable.

"We can't get behind by two scores early like we did against, If we just play sound and don't have a quick turnover on our first offensive series like we did against North Royalton, I really think we can win," Huge says.
