What's at stake:  The PAC-7 championship. A CVCA win would set up a possible three-way tie with Manchester and Triway, while a Panther victory gives coach Jim France another championhip trophy to add to his illustrious career.

CVCA needs a win to have a chance to qualify for the post season. The Royals are 11th in Division IV Region 13, while Manchester has clinched a home first round playoff game.

The strategy: Alex Utley leads the area in rushing, but the Royals run the wing-T and need to own the time of possession stat because the Panthers can light up a scoreboard, scoring 34 points or more in their last six games. Their big star is running back Mark Noble, who leads the area in scoring. The Panthers will also go to the air & pressure  the Royals defense.

The Coaches: Jim France and Ray Carroscia are veteran coaches that know how to win. France was not sure how his team would respond with its first three independent games and the Panthers won the trio and just plowed through six PAC-7 games. Carroscia has turned the small school on Wyoga Road across the street from Walsh Jesuit into a consistent winner.
