St. Vincent-St. Mary seniors Stephen Dages and Brendan Luebbering have committed to the University of Mount Union to continue their academic and athletic careers.

St. V-M soccer coach Philip Alvord said Dages and Luebbering were senior captains.

Dages is a three-year varsity letter winner.

“Stephen was the leading scorer for the Fighting Irish with eight goals and six assists,” Alvord said. “He was named first-team all-district, second-team All-Ohio and was elected to the GASCA All-Star Game. Stephen plans to study Mechanical Engineering.”

Luebbering is a four-year varsity letter winner.

“Brendan fought through a tough ankle injury at the beginning of the season and became the anchor of the Fighting Irish’s backline,” Alvord said. “He was also elected to the GASCA All-Star Game. Brendan plans to study Business Finance and Accounting.”
