Suburban League seeks one school to join revamped league

By Michael Beaven Published: January 10, 2014

The Suburban League, currently an eight-school league but expanding in 2015-2016, is seeking to add one school.

Current member Cloverleaf announced in 2013 it is leaving to join the Portage Trail Conference thus creating a need for one more school to complete the 16 team, two-conference league.

Interested schools should contact either Tallmadge Athletic Director Don Seeker by email at seeker.don@tallmadgeschools.org or by telephone 330-633-6956 or Suburban League Commissioner Keith Walker by email at kwsuburban@gmail.com or by telephone at 330-328-9295.

The Suburban League has commitments moving forward from six current members Copley, Highland, Revere, Nordonia, Tallmadge and Wadsworth, and nine new members Aurora, Barberton, Brecksville-Broadview Heights, Cuyahoga Falls, Hudson, Kent Roosevelt, North Royalton, Stow and Twinsburg.

Green announced in 2013 that it will be leaving the Suburban League and joining the Federal League in 2015-2016.
