Wadsworth senior Rachel Goddard has committed to continue her academic and basketball careers at Miami University in Oxford, OH.

Goddard, a 5-foot-7 point guard, is a leader for the Grizzlies as a second-year starter. She has been an All-Suburban League first-team selection in each of the past two seasons and was an Honorable Mention All-Ohio choice last season.

In 22 games this season, she is averaging 13.0 points, 3.0 assists and 2.4 steals

“Rachel is a remarkably consistent player,” Wadsworth coach Andrew Booth said. “She has scored in double figures in 18 out of 22 games, and led a very balanced team in scoring at 13.0 points per game. . . . She is one of the best point guards in Ohio.”
