Was Green's scheduling a bad idea?

By jcfortun Published: September 23, 2009

Perhaps this is the price that Green must pay. The tough schedule featuring Lake, Garfield and GlenOak, coupled with an overtime loss to Cloverleaf last week, has left the Bulldogs in an 0-4 hole.

Was the tough scheduling worth it this season?

``It is a double edged sword and you don’t know how it is going to end. But that is the chance you take,’’ Green coach Tom Stacy said. ``You are taking a chance because you could get banged up and you could not have the type of success you need. I still think in the long run it is going to make us a better team down the road.’’

The Bulldogs haven’t given up and are sick of losing, according to Stacy. It has led to a good week of practice, which is of utmost importance as Wadsworth comes to town.

``Our kids aren’t going to be intimidated by it, I think they respect them,’’ Stacy said.
