He committed to Ohio State on April 3. He had several other offers including West Virginia, Michigan State and several Mid-American Conference programs.
Dylan Brumbaugh Green DE 6-5 265
He committed to Akron in 2010 after he also had offers from Marshall and Youngstown State.
Connor Cook Walsh Jesuit QB 6-5 200
One of the state's top quarterbacks. He committed to Michigan State in early April 2010 during an unofficial visit. Cook felt very comfortable with the Michigan State coaching staff.
Doran Grant St. V-M DB 5-11 175
He committed to Ohio State in early January. He is considered to be the prized recruit from the area in the 2011 class. His scholarship offers included virtually all the major BCS schools. He narrowed his choices to Ohio State and Michigan State before picking OSU.
Cody Grice Firestone RB-DE 6-0 240
He chose Akron in 2010 over an offer from Alabama State.
Drew Kaser Walsh Jesuit P 6-4 215
He chose Texas A&M and is undoubtedly one of the state's best punters. He had offers from Illinois and Central Michigan.
Aaron Macer Twinsburg DB 6-1 190
He committed to Ohio University in mid-January. Also offered by Akron, Toledo, Kent State, Miami (Ohio) and Bowling Green.
Chevin Meadows Buchtel Athlete 5-10 170
He verbally committed to Kent State in mid-January.
Steve Miller Canton McKinley DE 6-5 218
He committed to Ohio State in 2009. Also had offers from Florida, UCLA, Michigan State, West Virginia, Stanford and several others.
Mark Murphy St. V-M SS 6-2 195
He remained committed to Indiana despite Bill Lynch being let go as coach in late November. He initially made his commitment to Indiana in mid-June. Also offered by Arizona, Akron and Kent State.
Justin Olack Massillon WR 6-4 195
He committed to Toledo last week after backing out of his commitment to Pittsburgh, which had multiple coaching changes. He also had offers from Big Ten and MAC schools.
Max Pirman Orrville OLB-DE 6-5 221
He originally made an oral commitment to Indiana but changed his mind and committed to Nebraska in November. He had several other offers, including Kansas and MAC schools.
Rakim Reed Canton Timken TE 6-4 210
He made a commitment to Marshall after considering Pittsburgh.
Evan Shimensky Kent Roosevelt QB 5-11 182
He committed to Kent State last summer and stuck to his plan despite the coaching change to Darrell Hazell.
Devin Smith Massillon WR 6-2 175
He committed to Ohio State in mid-June. He also had offers from several other BCS schools.
