Area football players land on Rivals top 100 for 2012
A couple of area football players are listed on the Rivals.com Rivals100 national prospect ranking for the 2012 class which was released on Monday.
Canton McKinley junior defensive end Se’Von Pittman is ranked No.61 on the list. Pittman, who is 6-foot-5 and 245 pounds, reportedly has offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Tennessee and others, according to Rivals.com.
Austintown Fitch running back William Mahone (5-11, 205) is ranked No. 78 on the list. He reportedly has offers from Cincinnati, Boston College, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, West Virginia and several others.
Hoban defensive end Greg McMullen (6-5, 255) is ranked No. 88 on the list. He reportedly has offers from the likes of Ohio State, Notre Dame and Nebraska.
