Black Tiger football team hurting from slow starts
After two games, Cuyahoga Falls have fallen into a bad habit. The Black Tigers have fallen behind early in its two losses to Barberton and Boardman, the latter a 35-0 loss Friday.
"We have played better in the second half, but we cannot afford to start off so slowly," says Falls coach Mike Miller.
Miller knows this will especially be true Friday night as North invades Clifford Stadium in the Falls. The Vikings won their opener 28-0 over Coventry, but lost to St. Vincent-St. Mary, 51-14
"They are very athletic and have great speed," Miller says.
The Black Tigers are hoping to get back starting quarterback Dylan Leymon. The senior suffered an injured shoulder in the opener at Barberton. Junior Adam Gammell had started in the loss to Boardman.
