Centerville running back commits to Kent State

Centerville senior running back Tristin Boykin has reportedly made a verbal commitment to play at Kent State, according to ScoutingOhio.com.

Boykin, who is 6 foot and 190 pounds, also had offers from Buffalo and Central Michigan.

Boykin helped lead Centerville to a 9-3 record and one of the top Division I teams in Southwest Ohio last season. He rushed for 833 yards and nine touchdowns. He also had six receptions for 171 yards and two touchdowns for the Elks.
