Just checking the unofficial North Canton 2009 football schedule. Looks like the Vikings will play at Youngstown Boardman in Week 6 this fall.
That will be an interesting matchup of teams featuring two of the state's most highly-recruited football players in the 2010 class. Boardman has junior defensive end J.T. Moore (6-3, 230), who has already orally committed to Ohio State.
Of course, North Canton features junior RB Erick Howard - the 2008 Mr. Football Award winner. Howard (5-10, 210) reportedly has offers from Akron, Kent State, Cincinnati and Colorado.
Both players are ranked in the state's top 10 list by Ohio High Magazine.
