Archbishop Hoban duo headed to University of Akron
A pair of Archbishop Hoban standouts -- Rachel Tecca and Katie Gross -- are headed to the University of Akron to continue their academic and athletic careers.
Tecca, a 6-foot-1 forward, averaged 18.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and 3.4 steals per game last season. She was as an honorable mention All-Ohio selection, first-team all-district and the North Coast League Most Valuable Player.

St. V-M's Trecaso to play at University of Akron
St. Vincent-St. Mary senior Samuel Trecaso has signed a national letter of intent to continue his education and baseball careers at the University of Akron, according to St. V-M athletic director Andy Jalwan.
Trecaso led the Fighting Irish last season in hits (31) and baTtting average (.449). He also scored 20 runs and had 17 RBI.
