Firestone's Gladney & Lane continue to garner interest
Firestone football coach Tim Flossie says juniors Kevin Gladney and Jerome Lane each did very well at the Adidas Invitational, a top Midwest recruiting combine on Saturday in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Lane and Gladney both ran 40-yard dashes in the 4.4 to 4.5 second range.
Flossie said Lane, a tailback/safety/linebacker, received a scholarship offer from Washington.
Flossie said Gladney, a wide receiver, continues to maintain scholarship offers from Michigan State, Nebraska, Vanderbilt, Akron and Iowa.
Lane and Gladney are also two key players on the Firestone boys basketball team for coach Dave Milo.
