Five area football players are nominees for All-American Bowl
Five area football players are among the 25 players from Ohio nominated to play in the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Tra Chapman of Kent Roosevelt, Aregeros Turner of Copley, Ben Gedeon of Hudson, Kyle Kempt of Massillon Washington and Dymonte Thomas of Marlington are the area players that are under consideration to take part in the annual East vs. West game, which will be televised nationally on Jan. 5.
Of the 400 nominees nationally, 90 will be chosen to play in the All-American Bowl.
