Game Preview: Mogadore at Woodridge
Game: Mogadore (2-1) at Woodridge (2-1)
Time: 7 p.m.
What to look for:
Mogadore has been winning on guts, guile and defense. Though it's still early in the season they havne't shown the dominant streak that they've had in the past. Led by quarterback Anthony Ricci, they're looking for win No. 3 on the year at they head into Portage Trail Conference play against Woodridge.
This game is extremely important for both teams as conference play opens. While they sit behind Rootstown and Southeast, schools with perfect records, the truly important play begins tonight. Woodridge won't be a pushover either as they have a defense led by linebacker Keione Artice, a player who had 3.5 sacks and six tackles for loss against Norton in a 52-21 win.
Expect a dogfight.
