Grizzly Invitational Wrestling Tournament is Saturday
Grizzly Invitational Wrestling Tournament
What: The 27th annual Grizzly Invitational Wrestling Tournament features 16 schools.
When and Where: The tournament is Saturday at Wadsworth.
Area teams: Garrettsville, GlenOak, Ellet, Field, North Canton Hoover and Wadsworth are scheduled to compete.
The schedule:
Opening round: begins at approximately 9 a.m. Semifinals: begins at approximatley 1 p.m. Ninth through 16th place matches: will run between 2-5 p.m. Finals - first through eighth places matches: will start at 6 p.m.
Notes: Wadsworth coach John Gramuglia has led the Grizzlies to 11 consectuive team titles in the event, which was formerly held at the old school's West Gym. This is the first time the event will be contested in the new gymnasium within the new school.
Tickets: An adult ticket per session is $8 and a student ticket per session is $5. All session passes are $15 for an adult and $8 for a student.
