Highland selects a quarterback
Medina Highland (2-1) has settled on a starting quarterback in Jeremy Scholle. The 6-foot, 155 pound sophomore provides a dual threat option for the Hornets and secured the position in a week two win over Buckeye. In that game Scholle was 14-19 for 180 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed 15 times for 120 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
``He is learning each and every practice each and every snap,’’ Highland coach Tom Lombardo said.
SENIOR SECONDARY LEADS THE WAY
Senior Anthony Maslowski continues to be the Hornets go to player in all phases of the game. He and senior Anthony Petrilla have combined to have six interceptions so far this season. Maslowski has four and Petrilla has two. No other defensive back has an interception for the Hornets.
