Crestwood graduate Bridget Franek qualifies for 2012 Summer Olympics
Bridget Franek, a 2006 Crestwood High School graduate, will be a member of the United States track and field team at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Franek, 24, finished second in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase final Friday night at the U.S. Olympic Trials at Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus in Eugene.

Recruiting update: Louisville QB adds Buffalo offer
- Louisville junior quarterback Joey Duckworth has reportedly added an offer from Buffalo, according to ScoutingOhio.com.
Duckworth, who is 6 feet 3 and 194 pounds, also has an offer from Toledo.

Kent Roosevelt's Tra Chapman narrows choices to three
Kent Roosevelt football coach John Nemec said senior-to-be quarterback Tra Chapman will make his college decision by July 1.
Nemec said Chapman has narrowed down around 20 scholarship offers to three finaists. The three schools Chapman is still considering are Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Wisconsin.

Louisville 2014 quarterback Joey Duckworth has reportedly been offered by Toledo, according to ScoutingOhio.com.
It is the first offer for Duckworth, who is 6 feet 3 and 194 pounds.

Firestone's Kevin Gladney commits to Nebraska for football
Firestone senior wide receiver Kevin Gladney has orally committed to play football at Nebraska, according to an espn.com report.
Gladney, who also excels in basketball for the Falcons, had scholarship offers from several other Division I colleges.

Area sophomores-to-be make Scout.com watch list
Two area football players in the 2015 class have drawn the attention of Scout.com as some of the top sophomores-to-be in the Midwest.
Canton McKinley running back Eric Glover (5-10, 165) and Alliance offensive tackle Steve Clark (6-5, 285) are names to watch, according to Scout.com.
