Notes: The Tigers are the defending Division I state champions and ranked No. 2 in the Associated Press state poll. The Firebirds are ranked No. 10 in the AP state poll and were state runnerup to the Tigers last season by a 55-42 score. Earlier this season, Twinsburg defeated Kettering Fairmont 56-49. Twinsburg has won 45 consecutive games against Ohio opponents.

Firebirds cut their deficit to two points twice, but the Tigers respond and up 40-36 with 4:46 to go in the fourth quarter. Howard has six points in the quarter and 12 for the game along with six rebounds and two blocks.
