Massillon 2-for-2 on Thursday nights
Massillon opened the 2009 season with a pair of Thursday night games at home.
The Tigers won both after a 35-10 victory over GlenOak on Thursday night and a 42-20 triumph over Buchtel in Week 1.
Senior quarterback Robert Partridge threw four touchdown passes in the Buchtel win, junior receiver Devin Smith contributed two receiving touchdowns and junior tailback Jacar Roberson rushed for two touchdowns.
Partridge tossed two touchdown passes to Smith in the GlenOak victory, sophomore Alex Winters rushed for two touchdowns and senior Bo Grunder returned an interception for a touchdown.
Massillon will travel to Stow for a Week 3 matchup on Sept. 11.
