Orrville in regional finals again
The Orrville football team will make its second consecutive regional final appearance this week when it plays Genoa Area at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Avon Lake.
Here are a few notes:
- Orrville coach Doug Davault said Genoa likes to run the ball first and pass later. He said Genoa plays very aggressive during a game.
- Orrville made it to the regional finals in 2009 and '06.
- Davault also said junior LB Mason Monheim and senior DE Max Pirman took visits to Nebraska this past weekend. Pirman is verbally committed to Nebraska. "They had a great visit," Davault said.
