Orrville's Mason Monheim to visit Toledo
Orrville senior linebacker/running back Mason Monheim will be visiting Toledo this week, according to Orrville coach Doug Davault.
Monheim, an all-Beacon Journal first-team selection this season, had 108 tackles and 11 tackles for loss for Orrville, which reached the Division IV state playoffs.
Monheim, who is 6 feet 1 and 220 pounds, has multiple scholarship offers and will likely wait a while before making any decision, Davault said.
ScoutingOhio.com reported Monheim has offers from Illinois, Miami (Ohio), Kent State, Akron and several other MAC schools.
Illinois fired coach Ron Zook on Sunday. Davault said "that changes everything with Illinois" as far as Monheim's recruiting goes.
