Pittman becomes a Ram
Antonio Pittman, a former standout running back at Ohio State University at Buchtel High School, was released Saturday by the New Orleans Saints.
The Saints selected Pittman in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
The Beacon Journal's Marla Ridenour reported that soon after Pittman was cut, the St. Louis Rams claimed him off waivers. Pittman is projected to be star running back Steven Jackson's backup.
