Power poll: Week 5
1.) Louisville (II, 4-0): The Leopards' balanced offensive attack and aggressive defense led to a 33-7 win against previously unbeaten Northwest. Next: West Branch.
2.) Highland (III, 4-0): It took a fourth-quarter field goal to edge Tallmadge 3-2 in a key Suburban League matchup. Next: Revere.
3.) Brunswick (I, 4-0): The Blue Devils' defense stood strong in a 30-7 win against Nordonia, which lost for the first time. Next: at Parma Normandy.
4.) GlenOak (I, 4-0): Quarterback Brandon Martin rushed for two touchdowns as the Golden Eagles defeated Jackson 31-13 in a Federal League matchup. Next: Austintown Fitch.

9.) Walsh Jesuit (III, 3-1): Armand Dehaney, a Ball State recruit, scored two second-half touchdowns as the Warriors held off Mentor Lake Catholic 14-7. Next: Parma Padua Franciscan.
10.) Alliance (II, 4-0): The Aviators had an easier time than many expected in beating West Branch 21-7. Dominique Wright returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown. Next: Carrollton.
11.) Cloverleaf (II, 4-0): The Colts are a team that takes advantage of opportunities. Last week, they used a late touchdown to defeat Green 14-13. Next: at Copley.
12.) Wadsworth (I, 3-1): The Grizzlies were able to overcome five turnovers with strong defense in a 13-9 win at Revere. Wadsworth receiver Anthony Schrock had 10 catches for 170 yards. Next: Green.
13.) Archbishop Hoban (II, 2-2): The Knights jumped to a 12-0 lead, but St. Vincent-St. Mary rallied for 20 unanswered points. Next: Painesville Harvey.
14.) Garfield (I, 3-1): Tyson Gulley rushed for 188 yards, and receiver James Barnett scored twice in a 25-21 win against City Series opponent North. Next: at Massillon.
15.) Ravenna (III, 3-1): The Ravens needed a late touchdown off a fake field-goal attempt to turn back Norton 28-24. Next: Southeast.
16.) CVCA (IV, 3-1): Running back John Pettigrew rushed for 234 yards and Derek Utley rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns in a win last week over Tusky Valley. Next: Triway.
17.) North Canton Hoover (I, 3-1): The Vikings got three touchdowns from Erick Howard and the defense was tough in a 21-0 win at previously unbeaten Perry. Next: Lake.
18.) Tuslaw (IV, 4-0): The Mustangs held Indian Valley to 54 total yards in a 27-7 win to move into the poll. Next: Tusky Valley.
19.) Triway (IV, 3-1): One week after handing Waynedale its first loss, the Titans did the same to PAC-7 foe Manchester. Ben Cline racked up 173 yards on 21 carries and had two touchdowns. Next: at CVCA.
