Buchtel Receiver-Track Standout Receives Offer
Nate Harris, who played wide receiver for the Buchtel Griffins, received an offer to play football for the Indiana Hoosiers Harris who runs track for the Griffins as well and recently broke a state indoor track record will also be able to continue that aspect of his career.

Orrville junior linebacker Mason Monheim plans to take unofficial visits to Northwestern, Illinois and Boston College next week, according to Orrville coach Doug Davault.
Monheim, who is one of the state’s top players in the 2012 class, has already visited Michigan.

Lake junior tight end Dylan Seibel has reportedly been offered by Toledo, according to ScoutingOhio.com. It is the first offer for Seibel, who is 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds.
Aurora junior guard Troy Watson has reportedly been offered by Miami of Ohio, according to ScoutingOhio.com. Watson, who is 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds, also has offers from Toledo and Akron.

Cincinnati Withrow senior Skyler Willis has signed to run track at the University of Akron , according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. Willis was part of the 800-meter relay that was eighth at the Division I state meet (1:43.37) last spring in Columbus . She was also part of the 1,600 relay that was seventh at state (4:02.01).
The University of Akron football program has been showing interest in Oak Hills junior offensive lineman Caleb Stacey, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

1 QTR: St. Vincent-St. St. Mary is up 12-4 after one. Right now it doesn't look as if Bishop Hartley even belongs on the same floor. It's early still, but the Irish has dominated offensively and defensively. The scoring is balanced among the team and the defense stifling.

Firestone senior Darius Carter remains undecided on his college plans, Falcons boys’ basketball coach Joe Wojcik said.
Carter, a 6-foot-7 forward, has been receiving interest from several Division I colleges and junior colleges. Division I schools such as the University of Akron, Kent State and Wright State have expressed interest over the past couple of years.

Minerva receiver getting attention from Louisville
Minerva junior tight end/wide receiver Kyle Crum isn’t related to former Louisville men’s basketball coach Denny Crum, but Minerva football coach Brett Yeagley has been asked that question more than once.
The University of Louisville was the first school to offer Kyle, but he is no relation to Denny. “It is a coincidence since it is not a common last name,” Yeagley said.

Forty-three local wrestlers are one win away from advancing to the state finals Saturday night at Value City Arena. Twenty are from Division I, 14 are from Division II and nine are from Division III. McKinley Wrestler Pulls Major Upset
Ruben Burrows, a junior srestler from Canton McKinley, pulled a major upset this afternoon in taking out Ty Davis, from Lakota West High School in West Chester. David was projected to win this year's title, according to many.

CVCA Enjoys Success; Suffers Three Setbacks
Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy saw three of its remaining five wrestlers move on to the semifinals at the Ohio High School State Wrestling Tournament tonight.
Nathan Tomasello won his match in the 103 lbs. class and Alex Utley won in the 189 lbs. class. Josh Decatur lost in the 125 lbs. class, Matt Dobben lost in the 140 lbs. class and Matt Meadows lost in the 215 lbs. class. All will move to tonigh's consolation round.

The Hudson and Wadsworth girls basketball teams each secured a victory Thursday night in Division I district semifinal games at Ellet.

The East High School boys hoops team allowed one to slip away Tuesday night against the Twinsburg Tigers in the Northeast District Sectional Tournament.
When you are up 12 points with a quarter left in the game, you're supposed to win, but East lost 63-60 because they panicked. I refuse to say that they choked because they're high school kids.

Hoban junior defensive end Greg McMullen has reportedly added an offer from Notre Dame, according to ScoutingOhio.com.
McMullen, who is 6-foot-4 and 260 pounds, also has offers from Ohio State , Michigan, Nebraska, Michigan State and Purdue.

Kent State offers Cincinnati Wyoming offensive lineman
Kent State has offered Cincinnati Wyoming junior offensive lineman Terry Davis, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
“Coach (Darrell) Hazell called me to tell me that they were going to offer Terry,” Wyoming coach Bernie Barre told the publication.
