Revere names Gina Hartranft softball coach
Revere has named Gina Hartranft as its softball coach after she previously served as an assistant last season.
Hartranft was the Brunswick Rotary Club MVP and Athlete of the Year in 1990. She was also selected for the All-Pioneer Conference and All-Medina County all-star teams for four years in softball and basketball.
She attended the University of Toledo for two years followed by five years in the United States Navy as a Navy Corpsman. She was inducted into the Brunswick Hall of Fame in 1999 and in 2006 trained and completed the Akron Marathon.
Hartranft also has coaching experience via travel league teams.
