Several area football players get scholarship offers

Several area football players recently added scholarship offers, according to ScoutingOhio.com. Here is a list of updated offers, according to the recruiting website:

-Marlington junior running back Alden Hill recently added offers from Connecticut and Buffalo, according to ScoutingOhio.com. Hill, who is 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, also has offers from Ball State, Toledo, Bowling Green and Boston College.

-Aurora junior guard Troy Watson added offers from Kent State and Ohio University. Watson, who is 6-foot-6 and 285 pounds, also has offers from Toledo, Akron and Miami (Ohio).

-Orrville junior middle linebacker Mason Monheim added an offer from Western Michigan. Monheim, who is 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, also has offers from Illinois, Miami (Ohio), Kent State, Toledo and Akron.

-North Canton Hoover junior quarterback Austin Appleby has added an offer from Bowling Green. Appleby, who is 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, also has offers from Toledo, Kent State, Temple, Akron, Buffalo, Western Michigan and Western Kentucky.
