Six Archbishop Hoban football players commit to colleges

By Michael Beaven Published: April 30, 2014

Archbishop Hoban football coach Tim Tyrrell said six seniors have committed to play college football: D’Angelo James (Mount Union), Kylan Hood (University of Charleston), Jake Tersigni (Dayton), Domenic Grosso (Walsh University), Anthony Krim II (University of Charleston) and Vince Buzzi (Ave Maria).

James and Buzzi are linebackers, Hood and Tersigni play wide receiver and defensive back, and Grosso and Krim are linemen.

“They went from 2-8 to 5-5, and were really close to 7-3,” Tyrrell said. “We lost to [Cleveland] Benedictine in overtime [20-14] and then had a tough one with Walsh [20-14]. With those six and the other seniors, they really helped turn around the football program. They really wanted to have a winning season.”
