State track and field
Here are some more highlights from the Division I state track and field meet at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus:
The rain delay only lasted about 10 minutes.
BOYS
Jackson junior Carlin Isles took second in the 200 (21.5) and third in the 100 (10.79).
Brunswick senior Daniel White took sixth in the 800 (1:54.54).
GIRLS
Coventry senior Ashley Kaltwasser took sixth in the 300 hurles (44.41).
GlenOak freshman Emily Mazzaferri took sixth in the 800 (2:14.28). Mazzaferri, seniors Dejaa Shearer and Jasmyn Hawkins and sophomore Stephanie Noussias finished third in the 1,600 relay (3:53.09).
