Tallmadge strong on D-Line
Although the Blue Devils fell to Nordonia 34-19, they found out their run defense is something they can rely on.
Tallmadge kept the Knights to negative yardage on the ground and sophomores Tucker Linder and Heath Thomas were a big reason why.
Thomas took up a few blockers every time, Tallmadge coach Joe Vassalotti said.
He finished the game with three tackles, one and a half for loss and half a sack. Linder finished the game with a fumble recovering and one tackle for loss.
Senior Ryan Peterson led the way with seven tackles of his own.
