The Walsh Jesuit state tennis trio
Walsh Jesuit advanced three to the Division I state tennis tournament — senior singles player Katelyn Hissong and the doubles unit of senior Anne-Marie Kurtz and junior Gina Costanzo.
“My three girls have gotten better each match as the season has progressed,” Walsh coach Rocco Cona said. “I have seen a lot of growth and a lot of improvement, both mentally and physically. They have played almost 30 matches, and the hope is that they keep getting better. All three of them have done exactly that. I think we’ll be in a situation where they will be in good battles this weekend.”
