By gthomas Published: February 1, 2011

CBS Sports is providing fans the most extensive multi-media coverage of college football's annual National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 2 with in-depth content across CBS COLLEGE SPORTS NETWORK, CBSSPORTS.COM, MAXPREPS.COM and the CBSSPORTS.COM COLLEGE NETWORK.

CBS College Sports Network offers seven hours of live television programming featuring recruiting expert Tom Lemming and guest analyst former Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez. CBSSports.com and MaxPreps.com will provide exclusive online coverage leading up to signing day along with breaking news and in-depth analysis Wednesday.

CBS COLLEGE SPORTS NETWORK will have live three hours of coverage at 10 a.m. and again at 3 p.m. after signings take place.

Not to be outdone, ESPN's college sports channel, ESPNU, will have 10 hours of live coverage beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The ESPNU National Signing Day Special, hosted by Rece Davis and Lowell Galindo, will feature comprehensive analysis from an assembled team of experienced and knowledgeable recruiting analysts.

Former University of Miami head coach Randy Shannon will join Tom Luginbill, ESPN national recruiting director; Bruce Feldman, ESPN The Magazine senior writer; Robert Smith, ESPN college football analyst; and Craig Haubert, Corey Long and Jamie Newberg, ESPN recruiting analysts. ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit will join the panel throughout the day to provide his overall breakdown of National Signing Day.

They will also have updates on ESPN.com and ESPN Radio throughout the day.

Lastly, Mother Nature obviously isn't afraid of the Big Ten Network.  Weather forced BTN to move its special from Wednesday night to Thursday night at 11.  It will feature host Mike Hall, Gerry DiNardo, Howard Griffith and Scout.com recruiting expert Allen Trieu.
