Two area football players reportedly get MAC offers
Manchester junior center Tony Matteo has reportedly been offered by the Toledo football program, according to ScoutingOhio.com. It is the first offer for Matteo, who is 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds.
North Canton Hoover junior quarterback Austin Appleby has reportedly added an offer from Western Michigan, according to ScoutingOhio.com.
Appleby (6-5, 225), one of the state’s top quarterbacks in the 2012 class, also has offers from Toledo, Kent State, Temple, Akron and Buffalo.
