Two top area footbal players get scholarship offers
Two area football players from the 2012 class reportedly added scholarship offers this weekend, according to ScoutingOhio.com.
Marlington running Alden Hill added an offer from Illinois. Hill, who is 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, also has offers that include Ball State, Toledo, Bowling Green, Boston College, Buffalo, Connecticut, Vanderbilt, Kent State, Northwestern, Pittsburgh, Virginia and Northern Illinois.
Manchester offensive lineman Tony Matteo added an offer from Iowa State. Matteo, who is 6-5 and 275 pounds, also has offers from Toledo, Bowling Green, Akron, Connecticut, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Kent State, Miami (Ohio), Pittsburgh and Ohio University.
