UA offers Mason tackle scholarship
The University of Akron football program offered Mason junior tackle Joseph Spencer Tuesday afternoon, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Spencer, who is 6-foot-4 and 275 pounds, also has offers from Ohio University, Toledo, Kent State, Bowling Green, Buffalo and Miami University.
Mason is a member of the 10-team Greater Miami Conference in suburban Cincinnati.
