UA reportedly after several new football players

The University of Akron football program has reportedly extended several scholarship offers this week to the 2012 class.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reported this morning that Wyoming High School junior offensive lineman Terry Davis was offered by the Zips. The 6-foot-4 and 280-pound standout also has offers from Ohio University, Toledo, Bowling Green and Kent State.

ScoutingOhio.com reported Toledo St. John’s junior outside linebacker Kent Kern (6-1, 220), Cleveland Rhodes junior running back Lakeith Walls (6-4, 200), Brush tight end Pharaoh Brown (6-7, 215) and Brush junior guard Carlutorbantu Zaramo (6-4, 286) have been offered by the Zips

Brown also has offers from Syracuse, Michigan, Arizona State, Bowling Green, Colorado, Cincinnati and West Virginia.
