Updates from boys state tennis: Sandberg on to semifinals, Dunbar falls
Walsh sophomore Aaron Sandberg will need that hotel room in Columbus after all.
Sandberg downed Stuart Little of Upper Arlington 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the state semifinals Saturday morning where Westlake senior Colton Buffington awaits. Sandberg and Buffington have played twice before, with Buffington winning both matches.
Cloverleaf sophomore Jacob Dunbar lost to Perrysburg junior Jeffrey Schorsch 6-4, 6-2. Schorsch made nearly every shot he attempted, leaving Dunbar frustrated that he couldn't convert many shots or catch a break.
And as this is being typed, Revere's doubles team of Noah Hendrickson and Peter Harris falls to Sycamore High School.
