Walsh Jesuit baseball duo on national list
Perfect Game, a national amateur baseball scouting service, has included two Walsh Jesuit baseball players in its Top 385 national rankings for the Class of 2010.
Walsh coach Chris Kaczmar said juniors Tyler Skulina and Johnny Fasola are ranked No. 25 and No. 284, respectively. The two helped Walsh win the 2008 Division II state title.
Skulina, a 6-foot-6 and 235-pound right-handed pitcher, compiled an 8-0 record in 2008 and did not allow a run, earned or unearned, in postseason play.
Fasola, a 6-foot-3 and 195-pound third baseman/right-handed pitcher, had a .354 batting average in 2008.
