Walsh's Connor Cook remains committed to Michigan State

By mdyer Published: January 3, 2011

Walsh Jesuit senior quarterback Connor Cook remains verbally committed to Michigan State despite the fact that Spartans offensive coordinator Don Treadwell was hired by Miami University as the new head coach last week.

Walsh coach Gerry Rardin said in an e-mail this morning that he was “99.9 percent sure” Treadwell’s hiring at Miami would not affect Cook’s commitment to Michigan State.

Cook verbally committed to Michigan State in early April. He is expected to sign his national letter of intent on Feb. 2.
