A privately owned real-estate development firm, the K&D Group of Willoughby, announced Wednesday the purchase of 10 senior housing properties in Northeast Ohio for $43.3 million.
The seller was Associated Estates Realty Corp.
In the Akron area, the sale includes Ellet Apartments, State Road Apartments, West High Apartments, Twinsburg Apartments, Tallmadge Acres and Sutliff II Apartments in Cuyahoga Falls. Riverview Apartments and Village Towers in Canton are included. The properties will remain under Housing and Urban Development subsidies.
