FirstMerit Bank will host a home ownership seminar to educate consumers about mortgages from 9 a.m. to noon May 17 at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 442 Bell St., Akron.
The bank said refreshments will be served and child-care will be available for ages 3-8.
The bank said individualized credit-counseling sessions will be available.
The seminar is free, but registration is requested.
Call 330-253-3711 or come to the meeting at 8:30 a.m. that day.
