The retailer Big Lots, based in Columbus, announced it is accepting video entries through June 21 for schools wanting to compete for cash prizes.
The program is called Lots2Give to ''support community-based efforts that enhance student learning.''
Teachers, parents, administrators and community members can create and enter a video of 90 seconds or less and write ''a brief paragraph'' on why their school deserves the $10,000 prize.
Details are at the Web site http://www.lots2give.com. Anyone can vote June 30 to July 22 to choose winners.
