Citing ''unprecedented increases'' in costs of raw materials, energy and shipping, A. Schulman Inc. announced price hikes of its own for North American product operations.
Schulman, the Fairlawn resins and plastics compounder, said the increases will be up to 10 percent for some products and 20 percent for others.
The increases are separate amounts for divisions of the company known as Masterbatch, Engineered Plastics and Distribution.
The hikes are on top of increases of up to 20 percent announced June 13.
