The state of Ohio is sponsoring an event to help Stark County residents avoid foreclosure.
The Borrower Outreach Day will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Campus at Goodwill, 408 Ninth St. S.W. in Canton. The free event is being sponsored by the Ohio Department of Commerce in partnership with Ohio Treasurer Richard Cordray and the Ohio Housing Finance Agency.
Local, state and federal housing experts, housing counselors and mortgage loan servicers will be available. No registration is required.
