Akron's Entrepreneur Organization has launched a membership drive to introduce budding entrepreneurs to its new Accelerator program.
The new initiative's mission is to help new business owners grow their enterprises despite a challenging economy. Members get access to an influential network and learning opportunities.
An event Wednesday is open to owners and founders under the age of 47 who are operating businesses with at least $250,000 in annual revenue. It will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at House of Blues, 308 Euclid Ave., Cleveland. For more information, call David Lazor at 216-325-5204.
