An Akron company was voted as having the ''Most Promising Technology'' at a recent forum in Washington, D.C.
Polyflow Corp. was recognized for a process it has been developing that recycles all forms of plastic, improving the environmental footprint of plastic and petrochemical product life cycles, from production through disposal.
Chief Executive Joseph Hensel accepted the award.
The vote was taken at the CleanTech Innovation Forum, attended by 300 venture capital groups.
Polyflow was among 20 selected from hundreds of applicants in North America and Australia to give presentations.
